Tom Thomas Director Tom Thomas has 35 years of business experience spanning several industries and is a respected CEO, business leader and visionary. Mr. Thomas is President and COO of GXS, a leading worldwide provider of business-to-business EDI and supply chain integration, synchronization and collaboration solutions. In 2005, he led the operations of G-International, which was previously IBM's EDI and Information Exchange. Prior to G International, he was Chairman, President and CEO of HAHT Commerce and successfully architected the merger of HAHT Commerce with GXS. Prior to that, he was Chairman, President and CEO of HAHT Commerce, an Enterprise Software Company with leadership positions in Internet Order Management and Data Synchronization/UccNET for the Consumer Products Manufacturing and Chemical industries. Thomas was previously CEO and President of Ajuba Solutions, a provider of integration software and served as Chairman, President and CEO of Vantive Corporation, a public company and leading customer relationship management (CRM) software vendor. Before joining Vantive Mr. Thomas was senior vice president of E-Business and CIO at 3Com and Palm where he launched the company's e-commerce strategy and grew the division to $1.5 billion in revenue. As a former CIO of Dell Computer, Mr. Thomas led the Worldwide Systems Organization and helped establish the company as the world leader in direct selling of computer systems and computer related systems. Mr. Thomas has also served as vice president of information systems for two of the most recognizable consumer brands in the world, Kraft Inc. and Sara Lee Corporation. He has served on several Industry Advisory Boards, including Ariba Technologies, Dell Computer, OBLIX and Tibco. He has extensive experience on public, private and non profit boards and currently serves as a Director on four Boards. Mr. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce from Bellarmine University, Louisville, Kentucky.
